Emotional Intelligence and Triggers

  Good morning followers,     The topic of triggers has always been a hot one for me as I have experienced them, witnessed them, wanted to avoid them, and also be "cured " of them. Today after many years of self-study, trauma therapy, mindfulness practices, 12 Step Groups, self-compassion, and forgiveness, I'm willing to face them, process them, and  change them or reframe them, and understand myself on a deeper level. When I do this, I'm able to give this understanding, compassion, and love to others. Somatic Yoga

 Happy New Year Followers!   I'm taking a "Somatic Healing Life Coach Class " by Tasha Ina Church through Transformation Academy. One of the Somatic Practices she covers in this intensive course is Somatic Yoga. What is Somatic Yoga? Somatic Yoga is yoga that focuses  on the experience, skill, and ease of the movement and transitions.  This differs from traditional yoga where the focus is on "external results."  Somatic yoga allows  us to interpret how we "feel in the moment and respond accordingly".
