Controlling Your Bob
Good morning followers!!!
I don't know how many of you have seen the movie, "What About Bob?", but I'm going to use an excerpt of it to introduce this tool.

This tool giving your thoughts a name, in this case, Bob, is one of my favorites! This is one of my favorites! I'm covering it in the Course, "Law of Attraction" for my Master Spiritual Life Coach Certification through "Transformation Academy".
Here is how to take power back from your "Bob":
1. IGNORE"BOB": Don't take your "Bob" SERIOUSLY!!! When he or she starts hopping on that negative doom train, imagine "BOB" in has an ANIMATED VOICE or is WEARING A CLOWN SUIT OR LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER RIDICULOUS CARTOON CARACTER. "BOB" isn't you, and moreover, doesn't KNOW what he's talking about!!!
2. PROTECT "BOB": "BOB" can be easily influenced, so ALWAYS ask yourself if YOU really BELIEVE it's CREDIBLE what it's SAYING. Pay CLOSE ATTENTION to any thoughts that sound uncannily similar to things other people say, like your parents, the media, and authority figures. CHOOSE what you EXPOSE "BOB" to WISELY, because he's apt to not only BELIEVE IT BUT REPEAT IT!!!
3. OBESERVE "BOB": As often as you can, get in the habit of watching your "BOB". Notice what it's thinking about. And if you don't like what it's THINKING about, CHOOSE A NEW THOUGHT!!! YOU ARE IN CHARGE. This becomes especially important if "BOB" is Thinking " about what YOU don't want or something that causes YOU to worry.
It takes time to get control of your BOB. Sometimes BOB will get into tangents of negative thought patterns. You'll have to smack BOB on the HEAD and call him out on his behavior. At this point, you realize, you have the POWER and CHOICE and PICK a BETTER FEELING THOUGHT. The more you OBSERVE BOB the better you'll become at interrupting BOB before your "EMOTIONS" Spiral out of Control.
Here's to freedom in your "BOB"!!!
And many joys along the way,
