Types of Journaling in Sobriety

 Good morning followers!

I've been taking Gladies Flores' Sobriety Life Coaching through Transformation Academy.

The brief over-view for benefits of journaling:

Encourages Accountability

Thought Expression Creates Healthier Communication

Goal Setting Tool

Can Tell it Anything Free of Judgment

Today I'm going to talk about the different types of journaling to gain "self-awareness " and for " emotional processing" Gladies discusses in this part of the course:

1. Reflective Journaling to gain patterns in past behaviors.

2. Gratitude Journaling writing down what you are grateful for such as good health, healthy relationships, and a comfortable home. It can help you cultivate a positive mindset and an overall sense of happiness.

3. Creative Journaling using art, poetry or other forms of creative expression to explore thoughts and emotions. This one can be a therapeutic tool for those who find it more difficult to write down their thoughts and emotions into words.

4. Goal-Oriented Journaling. This type involves setting specific goals and tracking progress toward these specific goals. By doing this tool, one can stay focused and motivated on achieving their goals and celebrate their WINS along the way.

5. Dream Journaling. This one involves writing down dreams and analyzing their meaning. This particular tool gives one insight into subconscious thoughts and emotions.

6. Bullet Journaling. This type involves creating lists and charts to track tasks, goals, and habits. Doing this tool, can help one stay organized as well as manage one's time more effectively.

The type of journaling that works for you will depend on your personal preferences and goals but trying out different journaling types can help you decide what works best for you and incorporate it in your daily routine and help you support you in your GOALS.

Gladies Flores includes this 100-page free SOBRIETY JOURNAL.
