Apple Crisp and Gratitude

Good morning, followers!

Today's post is about one of my favorite passions.... Cooking!

I'm writing about this particular topic, Apple Crisp and Gratitude", because on March 4, 2026, I had wrist surgery of my dominant hand and couldn't cut an apple, so this recipe was out of my cooking index. I kept thinking about ways I could do this; get dried apples, get a mandolin, etc.

Well, after months of outpatient hand therapy at Orthopedic Therapy via my hand surgeon's office, months of my own hand therapy exercises, red -light therapy (a gift from a dear friend) ....

I did...

I was able to cut the apples with my dominant hand with ease and make this recipe

I have huge gratitude for this simple yet huge healing and return to being able to do something I love and longed to do.

What are you grateful for?

I'd love to hear from you!

Grateful, Peaceful, and "Taking it One Step at a Time",

Laura
